Got an old bookcasein need of a facelift? Don't have a bookcase but could find one at a yard sale, on Craigslist or in the Ikea clearance room for 50% off? Loving this idea for yet another project? Yeah, me, too!
From the very talented eye of Ar'alani--how funny is this?! Pay her a visit and check out the entire Star Wars set on her stream, I promise, you'll be laughing in no time. The captions and comments are almost funnier than the images! Her nature photography is equally as wonderful...click, visit, view and enjoy!

Oh, to have a kitchen with flow. Modern, clean, open, bright, organized, with flow. Makes me want to cook, to bake, to just hang out in it. Fave elements: pendant lights, bar stools, stainless steel, glass, dark wood floor, double ovens.
My 11' x 9' pre-war era apartment kitchen will never rival this wonder space (designed by Candice Olson of HGTV fame) but I've started the process. See that cheap wallpaper border around the ceiling? It's going bye-bye. Those white metal cabinets that don't allow for painting to infuse color? Seeking out vinyl wall decals to perk them up. All those plain white walls? The longest, behind the stove, soon to be tomato red. Before photos shown below, after photos will come when I'm finished!
I'm not normally a pink gal but recently I've been thinking that bold, hot pink is almost as edgy as my beloved red. I believe I could live in this room. The size and shape of that ottoman, the fresh lime wallpaper, fresh flowers and all that warm sunshine streaming through the windows seduces me for sure.
Thanks go to Kristina of Kristina Myers Crafts for selecting my Garibaldi Pier image for her gorgeous, "a winter's night dream"... a summer inspired treasury in black and white. So film noir...click the photo grid for a larger view.

Just shot these today when the snow started to fall again. I am considering offering them as a set of prints and blank cards in our Etsy shop.
