The patterned wallpaper combined with the line of this sofa is divine.



I'm liking the masculine stripes in contrast with the girly-curves and colors of this mini dresser.



Rich purple paired with fresh lime--yes, we have a winner!



Just chose this one for the light...who wouldn't want to spend an afternoon here?



The curves of the floral on the screen highlight the graphic on the carpet. Also love how the screen gives the bed much more presence in the room.

Design Inspiration: Yellow

Yellow is a very cheerful color. I like the feeling of these rooms but personally couldn't live with that much brightness in my entire space. Guess I shouldn't talk, what with my fedish for red, ha! However, I AM loving the white and black along with the yellow and the comfy, eclectic styling in the last four photos!

Design Inspiration: Espresso and White Kitchen

Oh, to have a kitchen with flow. Modern, clean, open, bright, organized, with flow. Makes me want to cook, to bake, to just hang out in it. Fave elements: pendant lights, bar stools, stainless steel, glass, dark wood floor, double ovens.

My 11' x 9' pre-war era apartment kitchen will never rival this wonder space (designed by Candice Olson of HGTV fame) but I've started the process. See that cheap wallpaper border around the ceiling? It's going bye-bye. Those white metal cabinets that don't allow for painting to infuse color? Seeking out vinyl wall decals to perk them up. All those plain white walls? The longest, behind the stove, soon to be tomato red. Before photos shown below, after photos will come when I'm finished!

Design Inspiration: Americana Family Room

This room makes me think of summertime. However impractical it might be, I really like that crazy goose neck lamp. Like the flag art (I bet I could replicate that), the exposed ceiling beams, the built in shelving and hooray for that sectional with the removable, washable slipcovers!
