We went west to the beach for a day trip on Sunday and visited Seaside! The weather was just right and not as windy as usual for that part of the coast. We played on the swings,
walked by the ocean, strolled down
the promenade and stopped for an early dinner at The Happy Clam chowder bar. Also snapped some very nice
photos of the surf and some vintage
motel and business signage around town. Toward the end of the day we discovered a part of Seaside we'd never explored before--the south end. There's a wonderful park with driftwood and great view of the surf. We were also fortunate to see a wild bald eagle nesting in a huge shore pine and, wow, what a majestic bird and a great find to make our day complete. I posted the best photos of our day in our
