Trains

Last Stop

As promised, here's a handful of the shots I captured from the Northwest Railway Museum weekend before last. There is such an atmosphere in and around these retired steel and steam behemoths. A little sadness, a lot of awe, and a quiet grandeur in their dying place.

Forgotten

The future looks bright
On that train all graphite and glitter
Undersea by rail
Ninety minutes from New York to Paris
Well by seventy-six we'll be A.O.K.

What a glorious world this willl be
What a glorious time to be free...
