Food for Thought: Eco-Tip - Save Water

If I turn off the faucet for two minutes while I brush my teeth (or while hubby shaves), I can save 4.4 gallons of water--enough to stay hydrated for 12 days. That's six 8-ounce glasses of water each day!

The image displayed above was captured at Bridal Veil Creek in Oregon. It is available to own as a print (various sizes, mat included), or a hand-mounted, blank note card with matching envelope in my Etsy shop. Please visit my shop or contact me direct for more information or to purchase...thanks!

char: Bridal Veil Falls is one of many waterfalls in the Columbia River Gorge...this spot is about 40 minutes east of Portland proper along what is known as "the old highway" (the 2-laner used before I-84 was installed through the Gorge).

What a lovely mountain stream - and those figures you quote regarding turning off the tap while you brush are scary.Extra incentive to be aware of what I use, when and how! Thank you!
