My dining room needs a bit of an overhaul. The fantastically RED chairs in this photo grabbed my eye and wouldn't let go--love the color, love the lines. I'm also drawn to the chandelier, wall art, exposed brick and, of course, large open window bringing in all that light.
The brain wheels are turning trying to figure out how to create this look on the cheap. Ideas? Suggestions? Your comments are so very welcome!

Hm, may be find some cool chairs like that and upholster them with decorator weight deep red fabric? Sounds like a thrift store or yard sale trip! Good luck!
I, too love the colour red. In my livingroom and dining room red is my predominant accent colour...a lot of bang for your buck!
As for the wall art, consider doing your own canvas as you are so amazingly creative as is evident by your blog...good luck!

Love it! You could definitly do a version of this room on a budget. Red slip covers over existing chairs, some of your colorful photographs collaged as the artwork and a few inexpensive pendant lights clustered together would give a similar feel. Good luck and be sure to take pictures of the finished product!
